Working for a prestigious private banking firm based in the heart of the City, we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Administrator to join our client’s dynamic investment administration team. This is an excellent entry point for ambitious school leavers or graduates looking to build a career in investment banking and financial services.
As a Graduate / School Leaver Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the investment administration team, ensuring the smooth execution of financial transactions and the maintenance of accurate client records.
Duties of the Graduate / School Leaver Banking Administrator to include:
- Provide administrative support to the investment banking team, ensuring all documentation is compliant and up to date
- Data analytical work
- General investment administration
- Process all Fast Track closure requests for empty portfolios in a timely and precise manner.
- Handle closure requests related to project compact and remediation, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Process and complete account opening documentation for new and existing clients in line with bank policies and regulations.
- Work on a project dealing with closing accounts, ensuring all processes are followed efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of account activities and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
- Provide excellent client service, assisting with any account-related inquiries.
Requirements for the successful Graduate / School Leaver Banking Administrator applicant:
- Recent graduate or school leaver with qualifications in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software (training provided)
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about the investment banking sector
