This innovative legal and financial regulations company is exploring an exciting expansion into insurance regulatory advisory services. We are seeking a seasoned Insurance Regulatory Advisory Consultant to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study, providing critical insights and recommendations on the viability and strategic approach for launching this new service line, covering all types of insurance across international territories. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future direction of a dynamic firm.
Key Deliverables & Responsibilities of the Insurance Regulatory Consultant:
- Conduct a thorough feasibility study to assess the market opportunity and operational requirements for establishing an international insurance regulatory advisory service.
- Analyze complex international insurance regulations, identifying key compliance challenges and opportunities across diverse insurance types (e.g., marine, commercial, personal lines).
- Evaluate the competitive landscape and advise on optimal positioning and service differentiation.
- Develop a strategic roadmap, outlining potential service offerings, operational models, and resource requirements for the new venture.
- Provide expert, actionable advice to senior leadership on the overall viability and recommended structure for the insurance regulatory advisory service.
- Collaborate closely with internal legal, product, and business development teams to gather insights and ensure alignment.
- Present detailed findings, strategic options, and a clear set of recommendations to the Chief People Officer and other senior stakeholders.
Requirements of the Insurance Regulatory Consultant:
- Extensive, demonstrable experience in the insurance sector, with a deep specialism in international insurance regulations and compliance.
- Proven expertise in providing regulatory advisory services within the insurance industry.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a track record of conducting robust market and feasibility studies.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory landscapes into clear, concise, and actionable business recommendations.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, confident in engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Experience across a broad range of insurance types and international jurisdictions is highly desirable.
