A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading provider of B2B payment infrastructure and automation. As they continue to scale their complex global payment environments, they are seeking a hands-on, UX-focused Senior Product Manager who wants to take true ownership of the product lifecycle.
This is a high-visibility role where you won't just manage a roadmap—you will be the guardian of the customer experience. You will bring structure and discipline to a growing payments environment, ensuring that every feature not only works flawlessly but looks and feels exceptional for the end user.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Product Manager to include:
- Product Ownership & UX: Take full ownership of the product journey. You will lead UX testing and research to ensure the interface is intuitive and the customer experience is seamless.
- The "Eyes & Ears" of Engineering: Act as the vital bridge between stakeholders and developers. You will translate high-level vision into rigorous, actionable technical requirements, ensuring developers have the clarity they need to build effectively.
- Jira Mastery & Agile Delivery: Act as the primary owner of Jira boards and backlog governance. You will maintain a meticulous backlog, creating high-quality user stories and driving sprint planning with precision.
- Product Maintenance & Quality: You aren't just building new features; you are responsible for maintaining the existing product suite, ensuring it remains robust, compliant, and performant.
- Hands-on Testing: Conduct deep-dive product testing to validate that releases meet both functional requirements and "look and feel" standards before they reach the customer.
- Payments Stewardship: Navigate the complexities of the payments industry, ensuring products align with global infrastructure needs while maintaining a competitive edge.
Requirements for the successful Senior Product Manager:
- Experience: 6–10 years of product management experience, specifically as a Product Manager or Senior Product Owner.
- Technical Environment: Proven track record in payments, fintech, or regulated financial technology environments.
- Agile Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Jira and executing structured roadmaps in complex settings.
- Compliance Awareness: Comfortable operating in compliance-driven environments with an understanding of PCI DSS requirements and secure product design.
- Soft Skills: A structured, highly organized problem-solver who can challenge stakeholders constructively.
- Highly Desirable:
- Product Management or Agile certifications (e.g., CSPO, PSPO).
- Practical experience applying AI to accelerate product workflows (e.g., insight synthesis, backlog quality, or process automation).
What’s in it for you:
- This role offers broad ownership and the chance to work directly with leadership to modernise complex payment environments. You will have a measurable impact on the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
- 33 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Private healthcare.
- Hybrid working model.
- Performance-related bonus
