Are you a proactive, tech-savvy Project Manager with a background in financial services?  A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading Fintech provider of B2B payment infrastructure and automation. We are seeking a driven Project Manager to join this team, playing a pivotal role in bridging the gap between development, technical support and commercial teams to drive business efficiency and delivery high-quality projects for clients. You will manage internal development and external client projects from initial design through to successful completion. With a focus on improved business performance, you will ensure every process change adds real value.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager (Fintech) to include:

  • End-to-End Planning: Create and manage comprehensive project plans, statements of work, and internal project registers.
  • Stakeholder Synergy: Act as the key point of contact for clients, host agile daily stand-ups, and manage diary requirements for the CEO and Directors.
  • Technical Integration: Work closely with developers by creating Jira tickets, managing the Jira board, testing software, and pushing development work from UAT to production using Octopus.
  • Governance & Control: Actively manage project budgets, effort trackers, risk logs, and change control processes.
  • Communication: Lead project meetings, take minutes, and provide clear status updates to all stakeholders.
  • Ad-Hoc Technical Support (10% of the role):
  • Assist with support investigations using Splunk and Postman.
  • Manage internal email releases via Trend Micro and assist with compliance questionnaires.
  • Create SOB websites using basic coding to support our sales team

Requirements for the successful Project Manager:

 

  • Candidates MUST have a solid background in technical support and/or development, specifically within a financial services IT environment.

Fully conversant in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.

  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent), with a desire to further develop your professional skill set.
  • A "can-do" attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure. You should be a confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced team.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize your workload with minimal supervision.
