One of the fastest growing global FinTech companies is strengthening their Professional Services team in Central London with the addition of a client-facing Project Manager. Primarily working on large scale payment implementation projects across India & China, this is an ideal opportunity for a pro-active individual with previous experience working in a Matrix environment that thrives on taking the lead on how team projects are managed on a day to day basis.
To be considered for this position, candidates must have strong technical capabilities (XML, SQL, Java) combined with excellent people management skills. Candidates who have worked on previous Payments projects are at an advantage however candidates who possess demonstrable experience with Software Development technologies are being considered.
You will responsible for:
· Ownership for the production of the project documentation.
· Managing all risks & issues and communicating contingency plans to stakeholders.
· Driving project requirements, liaising with project teams and senior stakeholders.
· Monitoring project progress, managing and monitoring budgets and reporting accordingly
· Resource management and planning
· Participating in the delivery with oversight of the technical and functional solution
· Post-implementation project reviews
· Managing go-live planning
You will have:
· Strong project management experience within the Financial Services / financial software sectors - payment services experience an advantage
· Experience of delivering systems development/implementation
· Prince 2 / PMP Practitioner, or equivalent
· Ideally educated to degree level, or equivalent
