An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst (OTC Markets) to act as the key interface between multiple areas including IT, Product Management, Sales and Clients directly. You will be responsible for analysing, building, testing & developing OTC Market data products. The nature of this position requires candidates to be technically sound (XML, SQL & programming experience in SOAP, WSDL and Java or .Net would be advantageous) combined with excellent communication skills in order to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and senior managers within the business. Candidate with Agile development processes experience would be at an advantage.
Duties include -
· Report on common sources and technical issues or questions and suggest recommendations to the product team.
· Ensure elicit requirements are defined and completed correctly through facilitating cross-functional workshops
· Ensure all items & issues have been understood - relay this to all parties involved
· Develop user stories and associated acceptance criteria
· Create models to show forecasted system interactions
· Participate in System Testing - Integration, UAT & Functionality
· Create and update functional documentation such as overviews and user guides
· Help to design, document and maintain system processes
The successful candidate will be educated to a degree level with extensive experience of Business Analysis within OTC Markets (fixed income, credit, commodities etc). Candidates must be strong communicators both verbally and written.
