TO £80K + EX BENS + EX BONUS
A prestigious banking group based in the West End are currently recruiting for a Head of HR. Incorporating modern banking processes with a true ethos of providing exceptional customer service, this presents a rare and truly exciting opening. The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for the management and delivery of the banks HR policies and strategy. This is a truly generalist role where you will have full ownership for all strategic and operational people issues. Candidates must be comfortable in dealing with Expat packages and payroll and have experience within a banking environment. Candidates with experience with corporate governance/company secretary work would be at a distinct advantage
Wider accountabilities will include:
  • Develop and implement a successful HR policy in compliance with company regulations
  • Sole responsibility for recruitment and staff headcount, including budget for new starters, creation of job specifications, management of agencies, selection process, and on-boarding checks
  • Employee payroll and benefits - including administrating this on the system and reviewing payroll and benefits on regular basis
  • Employee welfare and communications - resolving of grievances and disputes, health and safety standards, as well as general communication, such as business newsletters
  • Manage all operational people issues, including; performance, talent and management development
The successful candidate will be an experienced HR professional with a proven track record of success in a standalone position. The ideal candidate will have a broad background from a banking or financial services environment, coupled with experience in smaller/medium sized companies and hold the relevant HR qualifications (CIPD). Most importantly you must be able to demonstrate proven judgement skills and sound management experience.
