- Well-regarded international Bank in the City is looking for an Assistant Relationship Manager to join their Corporate and Financial Institution Banking Team. Working to support the Senior Relationship Managers in a dynamic client-facing environment, you'll utilise your skills and experience to develop close relationships with clients and deliver a first-class service dealing with a variety of requests and queries.
Duties to include:
· Direct liaison with clients (verbally and in writing) providing a crucial first point of contact for queries, requests and concerns regarding a wide range of subjects and managing customer expectations
· Assisting with client payment / transaction enquiries and executing client payment instructions
· Preparing of account opening documentation and closing of customer accounts
· Processing signature mandate amendments
· Registration and set up of electronic banking facilities
· Assisting with customer reviews
· Conducting comprehensive and robust research
· Assisting with credit applications where necessary and liaising with the Credit Team
· Assisting Senior Relationship Managers to develop new business opportunities, attracting new and potential clients
Applicants should demonstrate previous experience gained in a similar role with a very strong client focus. Both Corporate and Financial Institutions banking backgrounds considered.
