City-based international bank is recruiting for a fluent French or German speaking Commodity Trade Finance Analyst with a sound technical knowledge. Applications are welcome from those with either vanilla or commodity trade finance backgrounds. Duties will include:
" The opening and closing of import Letters of Credit
" Processing Letters of Guarantee / collections
" 1st and 2nd checking of documentation
" Acceptance/payment of documents presented by SWIFT
" Ensuring all transactions are processed and settled to deadlines
" Liaison with Relationship Managers and customers regarding transactions and/or approvals.
Applicants must demonstrate solid Trade Finance processing experience and a thorough understanding of UCP600 and trade finance products to include import and export LCs, guarantees and collections. French or German language skills are essential. Possession of the CDCS qualification would be highly desirable.
