- FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (NEWLY QUALIFIED- 14 MONTH FTC)To £50k + BENS + BONUSRapidly expanding Trading House is seeking a NEWLY QUALIFIED Financial Accountant to join their Finance Department on a 14 month contract. You will be responsible for the preparation, control and reporting of financial accounting and regulatory information. Candidates must be fully qualified (ACA or ACCA) or in the final stages of qualification. This role would be ideal for a newly qualified accountant looking to move into an industry role from a practice environment.Duties will include:" Preparation of weekly, monthly and annual statutory financial statements, corporation tax returns, and to assist with the production of regulatory reports (FCA)." Maintaining of SOX process documentation" Assisting with the month-end financial process to include accruals, account analysis, account reconciliation, revenue accounting and prepayments" Strong theory knowledge to include financial statement preparation and knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAPKnowledge of UK & US GAAP, IFRS and SOX is essential.
