- Global payments provider based in the City requires a Product Manager / Business Analyst to leverage their experience with international money transfers and FX payments to steer the development of our global low value payments platform keep abreast of the latest trends in both payments technology and global payment flows. You will also be responsible for managing projects and making recommendations for revenue generation and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create end-to-end integration solutions enhancement specifications, test plans and implementation strategy
· Identify functional/technical gaps in new requests and find solutions which meet business, technical and efficiency requirements
· Design business workflows
· Recognize existing system deficiencies and recommend effective solutions, manage enhancements and bug fixes
· Analyze project requirements and translate this information into functional specifications
· Create scripts, scenarios and functional specification design documents
· Execute test scripts and collect evidence
· Document defects following best practices
Qualifications and Experience Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field
· At least 5 years of comprehensive business analyst in payments and FX, ideally from the financial services industry or FinTech company
· Project experience in core areas including payments processing including Nostro reconciliations, FX settlements, money transfer, accounting and AML
· Detailed knowledge of SWIFT messaging and low value clearing including US ACH and SEPA
· Excellent written and oral communication skills and capability to effectively communicate with high-level stakeholders
· Detail oriented and tenacious in discovery of solutions
· Technical education and experience desired as is a curiosity about new technology and trends
· Excellent analytical skills
