- Following a period of rapid expansion, a City-based international banking group requires a Senior Payments Officer. Working within the Banking Operations Department, the successful candidates will be responsible for the processing of SWIFT, BACS and SEPA payments.
Duties to include:
· Ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and to deadlines
· Processing both inward and outward remittances and clearing
· Processing of incoming funds to customer accounts
· Processing SEPA Direct Debits
· Investigation of queries and resolution of errors
· Assisting with project work as required
Utilising your previous payments processing experience, you will also be required to less-experienced member of the team, checking their work, answering queries and assisting with training. To be considered for this exciting new opportunity applicants MUST have solid customer payments processing experience and demonstrate a detailed knowledge of inward and outward clearing procedures to include SWIFT and SEPA payments.
