- Description
- Following a period of rapid expansion, a City-based international banking group requires Payments Officer with fluent Japanese language skills to join on both temporary basis until the end of June, initially. Working within the Banking Operations Department, the successful candidates will be responsible for the processing of SWIFT, BACS and SEPA payments.
Duties to include:
- Ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and to deadlines
- Processing both inward and outward remittances and clearing
- Processing of incoming funds to customer accounts
- Processing Direct Debits, Standing Orders etc.
- Investigation of queries and resolution of errors
- Assisting with project work: system implementation and UAT as required
To be considered for this exciting new opportunities applicants MUST have solid customer payments processing experience and demonstrate a detailed knowledge of inward and outward clearing procedures to include SWIFT and SEPA payments. Fluent Japanese language skills are ESSENTIAL.
