After an excellent 2017, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced UNDERWRITER to join a boutique lender based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting all new BRIDGING & PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT FINANCE applications in line with the company lending policy.
Duties to include:
" Underwrite and approve loans against agreed lending criteria
" Handling broker calls on specific cases under review; manage customer expectations
" Liaising with internal departments (Legal, Risk and Sales) and external parties (Surveyors, Solicitors and Customers) to effectively manage the lending process
Candidates MUST have proven working experience within the BRIDGING AND / OR DEVELOPMENT FINANCE sector and will previously have held an UNDERWRITING MANDATE.
