A fantastic opportunity at a rapidly expanding International Banking group based in Central London has arisen for a Senior Compliance Officer. The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Compliance Advisory Manager in creating and maintaining a positive ‘Compliance Culture’ throughout the bank by identifying, assessing and monitoring Compliance risks and updating policies and procedures.
Duties to include –
- Key point of contact by providing specialist Compliance support and advice to the business.
- To support the Manager in the continual assessment and implementation of relevant Compliance policies, procedures and processes.
- Creating reports and presenting to Senior Management.
- Identify new regulatory developments and report to Head Office
- Support the Manager to deliver Compliance related projects as required.
- Monitor completion of the Annual Compliance Plan
- Facilitate and perform appropriate monitoring, testing, reporting, analysis and investigation in order to identify, report and remediate Compliance risks.
- Provide support to the delivery of Compliance training on regulatory issues.
- Develop and update Compliance policies / procedures, ensuring staff members are updated and informed
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with 3+ years generalist Compliance experience that has been gained in Retail & Business Banking. To be considered for this role, candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent technical skills on FCA regulations and handbook and will be able to apply FCA regulations to the current policies and procedures. The successful candidate must be University educated. Report writing skills are essential!
