One of the fastest growing specialist banking groups in London requires a Loan Servicing Manager to join their Commercial Mortgages team on ongoing temporary basis. You will be responsible heading up the team responsible the post sanction administration for the bank’s property loan portfolio. The successful candidate will ideally have excellent team management experience combined with relevant loan servicing and collections experience, ideally gained in Property Finance.
Line Management Responsibilities -
- Management – manage the Loan Servicing team coaching and encouraging knowledge gain. Also deliver training and guidance to the rest of the team
- Ensuring comprehensive up to date procedures are developed, evolved, documented and followed
- Leadership: To act with the highest standards of ethical behaviour and probity as befits a leadership role model for the business and to manage the team effectively with controls and procedures for monitoring
You team will be responsible for -
- Liaising with borrowers and 3rd parties regarding repayments
- Produce MI and present analysis for management and committees
- Implement new techniques to minimise arrears whilst ensuring company’s guidelines are adhered to
- Instruct and liaise with valuers and surveyors
- Ensure the loan book is updated frequently on the company’s databases and systems
- Work closely with the underwriting team to ensure best repayment method
- Manage the drawdown process
- Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to when conducting tasks
- Handling all customer complaints
