An exciting opportunity has arisen within an International Banking group in the Central London for a Senior Lending Manager to manage & develop a designated syndicated loan portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers, and will be responsible for the full credit structuring process to include preparing credit proposals and carrying out periodic credit reviews. To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong knowledge of loan syndications and the UK property market.
Duties will include:
- Monitor designated business (syndication) portfolio & cultivate new business (both primary and secondary deals).
- Liaise with the Risk team during pre-approval stage on credit risk related matters.
- Submit customer's credit facility proposal in a timely manner an ensure the facility drawdown process is coordinated and completed
- Prepare credit reviews on a regular basis
- Develop strategies, tactics & action plans so as to achieve key performance targets
- Supervision of junior members of staff
This successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the UK Property market and will have a proven track record of managing & cultivating a syndicated loan portfolio. Candidates must be degree educated and will possess a detailed understanding of general banking law / UK banking practice and relevant regulation.
