- Description
- A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a City-based financial institution for a Payroll & HR Assistant to join a busy team. Working within a small and friendly team you will be responsible for a varied workload which will include the following;
- Payroll and employee benefits benefits administration
- Liaising with the Payroll provider to: manage payroll changes, change tax codes, order childcare vouchers and enter deductions, ensuring that all payroll deadlines are met.
- Act as first point of contact for all payroll-related queries and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate payroll and employee data
- Tax year end documentation
- New Joiner Process - prepare induction packs and add new joiners to relevant systems.
- Leavers Process - produce leaver letters, organise exit interviews, update relevant systems
- Assist with Employee Relations – answering queries in the first instance and note taking at meetings
- Maintaining organisation charts
- Maintain employee files
- Working on ad hoc projects as required
Applicants MUST demonstrate previous payroll, employee benefits and HR Administration experience The successful candidate will also be a confident, articulate individual with first class written and spoken English and a positive, 'can do' attitude.
