Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a City-based financial institution for a Payroll & HR Assistant to join a busy team. Working within a small and friendly team you will be responsible for a varied workload which will include the following;
  • Payroll and employee benefits benefits administration
  • Liaising with the Payroll provider to: manage payroll changes, change tax codes, order childcare vouchers and enter deductions, ensuring that all payroll deadlines are met.
  • Act as first point of contact for all payroll-related queries and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate payroll and employee data
  • Tax year end documentation
  • New Joiner Process - prepare induction packs and add new joiners to relevant systems.
  • Leavers Process - produce leaver letters, organise exit interviews, update relevant systems
  • Assist with Employee Relations – answering queries in the first instance and note taking at meetings
  • Maintaining organisation charts
  • Maintain employee files
  • Working on ad hoc projects as required
 
Applicants MUST demonstrate previous payroll, employee benefits and HR Administration experience The successful candidate will also be a confident, articulate individual with first class written and spoken English and a positive, 'can do' attitude.
