This is a great opportunity for a professional and engaging Events Manager to support the Senior Events Manager in leading the Events Team in providing a professional and 1st class events service.
Duties to include:
- Support the Senior Events Manager in the delivery of a creative, forward-thinking portfolio of events.
- Support the Events Team Manager in motivating and managing the team to ensure the highest levels of customer service and the smooth operation of the team on a daily basis.
- Oversight of the events portfolio and event booking process.
- Allocating events throughout the team and managing the workflow. Some events will necessitate delivery and coordination by the Events Manager.
- Work in collaboration with the Senior Events Manager to ensure that company objectives are met when planning events.
- Inspiring and promoting creativity within the team with an emphasis on process improvement and delivering excellence. Striving for the production of events that have a reputation for being ‘best-in-class’ in the industry.
- Take responsibility for responding to operational situations to ensure the best outcome.
- Manage the recruitment, training and development of the team and arrange regular team meetings.
- Produce monthly management reports.
Requirements for the role:
- Recent relevant experience in an Events Manager role, gained with professional services.
- People management skills – conducting appraisals, managing performance, managing workflow and directing the team.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communication skills and presentation skills. Sharing idea and providing feedback.
- Experience of managing budgets.
- Keen attention to detail.
