- ACCOUNT’S ASSISTANT – INSURANCE (ON GOING TEMP)
Day Rate: £110 - £150 per day
An International Insurance company in Central London is seeking an Account’s Assistant to provide support to the finance team. The ideal candidate has previous experience in preparing and assisting in regulatory reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and managed
- Reconciliation of account balances, underwriting, credit card balances, and fixed asset registers.
- Handing and accounting petty cash
- Maintenance of Payroll Journals
- Liaise with underwriting staff, suppliers, banks, investment managers, auditors
- Treasury management ( inclusive of transferring funds)
- Preparation of annual P11D returns, VAT Returns, and statutory accounts
ESSENTIAL:
- Experience in another insurance environment
- Working towards accounting qualifications
- Relevant Degree ( Preferred not Essential)
