A fantastic opportunity has arisen for someone with a passion for catering and hospitality to join a leading and dynamic corporate firm based in central London. Our client is seeking a hard-working, energetic and experienced candidate to manage the general day-to-day running of their busy on-site Café. As the heart of the office environment, this is a busy and active role, and you will be responsible for ensuring that it is always fit for purpose, clean, organised and a place where people want to come and enjoy.

Duties of the Office Café Manager to include:

  • Manage daily café operations, including daily breakfast setup, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in café areas, including table clearing, washing-up, and restocking.

  • Prepare food for staff lunches twice a week and ensure full menu availability daily.

  • Handle café stock, including ordering, rotation, and addressing supply issues.

  • Arrange room setups for internal events, including moving furniture and setting up equipment.

  • Maintain records of costs and consumption using Excel and produce basic reports.

  • Take operational lead for events, collaborating with one staff member, from informal café pop-ups to external client events.

  • Manage event diary, track requests, and communicate with internal team.

  • Create weekly event schedules and ensure all requests are addressed.

Requirements for the successful Office Café Manager:

  • Someone with previous experience working within catering / hospitality, who is happy to be involved in basic food preparation.

  • Someone with an excellent eye for detail who is hard-working, organised and professional

  • Someone who is looking for a varied and hands on role, who likes to be busy and commit to doing a great job
