An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Assistant Front of House Manager to join a prestigious investment management firm in the City of London. Reporting to the Head of Front of House, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of exceptional client services and assisting with event coordination. This is a hands-on role where you will help to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for every client and visitor.
This is a high-impact, visible position, where you will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that the client experience is consistent and aligned with the firm’s brand and culture. Candidates must have previous team leadership experience and hospitality experience within luxury corporate / professional services industry. Experience working within the wealth management and/or investment industry highly desirable.
Duties of the Assistant Front of House Manager to include:
- Operational Support: Assist the Head of Front of House in the day-to-day management of the FOH function, ensuring the team consistently provides a high standard of client service.
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and delivery of a calendar of high-quality client events, assisting with vendor relationships and internal stakeholders (e.g., catering, IT, facilities).
- Team Leadership: Support, coach, and motivate the FOH team, ensuring they effectively carry out their duties and that team procedures are followed and documented.
- Continuous Improvement: Help to review and document FOH procedures, making suggestions for improvement where appropriate.
- Reporting: Assist in the development of monthly management information and contribute to regular Group FOH meetings.
- Risk & Compliance: Help to ensure the team's adherence to risk management policies and internal controls.
Requirements for the successful Assistant Front of House Manager to include:
- Proven Leadership: A track record of supporting a team, with strong leadership and people management skills.
- Hospitality Experience: Previous experience within the hospitality sector is essential. Experience within the wealth management industry is desirable
- Client-Focused: A strong understanding of what constitutes an excellent client experience in a premium-level firm.
- Organised & Detail-Oriented: Exceptional planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Team Player: A passionate and proactive team player with a proven track record of supporting team goals.
- Tech Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passionate, high-energy, self-starter and team player, with a proven track record of achieving goals and driving continuous improvement.
