- Description
- An exciting new opportunity has arisen at a global speciality insurance company based in the City for a Senior Internal Auditor. Working in a small team, you will be responsible for cradle to grave auditing across the group although experience working on IT and Business Change Management audits would be a bonus.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation of audit programmes and comprehensive audit reports
- Contribution to the preparation and delivery of the audit plan
- Taking the lead to ensure the timely and successful delivery of tasks in support of the audit plan
- Evaluating the effectiveness of risk management and control
- Recommending appropriate measures to improve efficiency and then monitoring the implementation of these improvements
- Regular MI reporting to the Internal Audit and Risk Committees
Experience and Skills Required:
- Relevant professional qualification preferred, although not essential
- Experience working at an insurer, and/or knowledge of the Lloyd’s Market preferred
- Proven record of delivering end to end audits
- Claims, UW, Modelling, audits
- Ability to build and develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel (COVID restrictions permitting)
Candidates must be able to demonstrate relevant auditing experience at a senior level, relevant insurance industry experience preferred. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global brand.
