A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading International Banking Group as they seek a qualified and experienced Financial Analyst to join their team in the heart of London. Committing to upholding the highest standards of integrity,you will play a crucial role in not only assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial reports but also in upholding strong data governance practices and ensuring the maintenance of the Data Control Inventory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in finance, coupled with expertise in data governance, analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
????Duties of the Regulatory and Financial Reporting Office to include:
- Implement and adhere to data governance policies, procedures, and standards set by the organization, ensuring the highest level of data quality and security.
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the Data Control Inventory, keeping it up-to-date with changes in data structures and reporting requirements.
- Actively participate in risk management by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to data governance and DCI.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and disclosure notes.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and variances, providing explanations to management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and policies issued by Head Office, and follow all regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of financial reporting processes.
- Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines, and standards set by regulators and the Bank, carrying out duties with high integrity.
????What we need from you:
- Part qualified/newly qualified.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Advanced MS Excel skills are essential
- Familiarity with T24, SQL, and Power BI.
- Previous experience in a financial and regulatory reporting in banking and / or accounting sectors
